United States Geological Survey

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is a scientific research agency of the United States that collects, analyzes, and distributes information about the country's biology, geography, geology, and hydrology. Researchers at the USGS collaborate with Movebank on the development of new Movebank features and use Movebank to manage tracking data. Wildlife biologists at the USGS and Movebank have worked together to build support for Argos data in Movebank and worked on the development of the Env-DATA System.
